The church of Santa Barbara, which clings to the crest of a hill, offers its visitors an unforgettable panoramic view. The small gothic church was built by miners who were in Valparola treating minerals extracted on Monte Pore at Colle Santa Lucia in the valley of Livinallongo.
The Crucifixion in open countryside depicted on the external wall of the church and various paintings within are of particular historical and artistic value.
